🩺 Health Guarantee

At Highland Bullies, the health and well-being of our puppies are our highest priority. We are committed to responsible breeding practices, transparency, and supporting our families for the lifetime of their dogs. To give every adopter peace of mind, we proudly offer a comprehensive health guarantee.

🐾 Veterinary Care & Health Standards

All of our puppies are:

  • Examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to leaving our kennel

  • Vaccinated with age-appropriate core vaccines

  • Dewormed on a regular schedule

  • Crate-trained and eating solid food

  • Provided with a written record of vaccinations and medical care

  • Sent home with a starter kit and transition support

We do not allow puppies to leave before 8–10 weeks of age (sometimes longer for Standard Bull Terriers), ensuring proper development, socialization, and immunity.

✅ 72-Hour Initial Health Guarantee

We require that all new owners have their puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup or delivery. If the vet finds a life-threatening health issue (not caused by injury or neglect after pickup), we will offer:

  • A full refund or exchange (if one is available), upon return of the puppy and a written veterinary report.

🧬 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

We guarantee our puppies against life-threatening congenital or hereditary defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of birth. If a certified veterinary diagnosis confirms such a condition that impacts the puppy’s quality of life, we will:

  • Replace the puppy with one of equal value from a future litter OR

  • Offer a partial refund if the family wishes to keep the affected puppy

We may request documentation and a second veterinary opinion from a licensed professional of our choosing.

⚠️ Health Guarantee Does Not Cover:

  • Minor and treatable conditions (e.g., parasites, mild skin irritations, or minor respiratory infections)

  • Injury, neglect, or illness resulting from improper care or unsafe environments

  • Reactions to vaccinations or routine veterinary procedures

  • Fading Puppy Syndrome or other issues unless documented evidence shows inherited susceptibility
